Postdoctoral Fellow - Cancer Biology (The Kalluri Lab)

The Kalluri laboratory at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join the team in expanding their work on the molecular underpinnings of brain tumors, neurodegenerative disorders, and central and peripheral neuropathies and translating research findings into novel therapeutic approaches. The ideal candidate would be committed to solving important questions in neuroscience using innovative and out of the box thinking. They should demonstrate enthusiasm for science, strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, and be able to work in dynamic teams. The candidate must be interested in mouse modeling of disease and advancing therapeutic testing.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Augment existing knowledge and skills in a focused area of research in a systematic manner to complete a comprehensive training program in biomedical research with the goal of developing into an independent researcher.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. degree with a strong background in neuroscience, which may include a focus on neurodegenerative disorders, central and peripheral neuropathies, synapse biology, and brain tumors.

POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience. MD Anderson trainee compensation also includes:
