Senior Research Data Coordinator - Plastic Surgery

JOB SUMMARY
Provides administrative and patient care services for the coordination of research studies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Acts as a lead in the development and maintenance of systems for controlling paper flow for protocols and hospital policies, including records of surgery and pathology information.
Maintains schedules for the timely submissions of all grant data.
Assists in the preparation of information and reports for grant submission.
Responsible for the completion of data forms, dosimetry, films, treatment records, surgery and pathology information.
Writes abstracts, manuscripts, grants and correspondence.
Sees patients referred to the department and reviews the eligibility of potential study cases with the physician.
Controls the randomization of patients and ensures follow-up appointments.
Acts as liaison with patients, families, physicians and other personnel.
Orients facility personnel.
Maintains contact with other institutions, participating in studies and coordinates all data.
Coordinates studies sponsored by drug companies and FDA.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree.

Required Experience:

Four years of related experience. With preferred degree, no experience required.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Experience scheduling patients with a good understanding of navigating patient schedules through Epic, excellent customer service skills with patient facing, excellent phone skills, flexible, professional.

Work Schedule:

Hybrid Onsite/Remote schedule. Onsite a few times per week. These studies are focused on bringing patients into the clinic.
