Student Extern - IT Process Improvement

The Student Extern position is an opportunity for a student to learn job skills while working in areas of technology, digital and/or innovation. They will be given specific tasks including analysis and creation of deliverables under supervision of the team.

Analysis, diagnosis, and problem solving
Provide analytical support in a team environment with work focused on workflow analysis, customer service and helping to solve technical issues. This role will also work with team members to outline end user requirements related to ongoing projects and initiatives. The student extern may also work independently on short term sub-project work under the supervision of lead analysts and managers.

Create deliverables and perform technical changes
Creates deliverables such as system documentation, spreadsheets and presentations under the supervision of a lead analyst or manager. The extern may also make minor system configuration changes in support of customers.

Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education: Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in college or enrolled in a Masters degree program.

Preferred Experience: Pursuing a Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree
