The Eschweiler Lab in the Department of Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is inviting applications for postdoctoral positions. We are looking for highly motivated researchers with a strong interest in cancer immunology and immunotherapy. Our lab utilizes cutting-edge genomic tools, innovative mouse tumor models, and computational methods to explore the immunological mechanisms underlying cancer.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The Postdoctoral Fellow will train, learn and study design, data analysis and manuscript writing.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Candidates should have:
• PhD in immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer biology or a related field
• Evidence of strong scientific productivity, demonstrated by high-quality research published in peer reviewed journals
• Skills for internal and collaborative projects
• A strong sense of curiosity and willingness to explore different avenues
Strong applicants will have knowledge or skills in one or more of the following areas:
• Tumor immunology & cancer immunotherapy
• In vivo mouse models
• Mouse handling & colony maintenance
• Cell culture of cancer cell lines & primary cells
• Multi-color flow cytometry (FACS) & cell sorting
• Single-cell RNA-seq & ATAC-seq
• Data analysis & interpretation
POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
