Summary
The primary purpose of the Clinic Assistant Manager position is to provide professional services in dispensing pharmaceuticals. Counsels patients and coordinates drug therapies with appropriate medical personnel. Requires independent judgment and decision-making. Responsible for staff scheduling and daily operations. Responds to and manages all area problems.

Education
Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy
Preferred: Pharm.D. Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, advanced degree in healthcare, MBA, BCLS/ACLS certification or ASHP Certification of Residency
License/Certification
Required: Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas
Experience
Required: Two years of related Pharmacist or Clinical Pharmacist experience.

- Supervises staff to assure appropriate medication delivery and patient safety. Monitors the pharmacy for compliance with all laws and regulations. Functions competently as a pharmacist in all areas of the pharmacy.
- Provides development opportunities and ongoing feedback to employees.
- Works with staff to evaluate and implement change in the area.
