The Clinical Operations Project Management Office supports organizational effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions that improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and strengthen project execution across clinical operations.
The Program Manager plays a vital role in advancing strategic initiatives through project management, operational analysis, stakeholder engagement, and change enablement. The Program Manager collaborates with project and operational leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, while ensuring project success through effective coordination, communication, and monitoring. The Program Manager supports institutional goals by driving operational improvements and sustainable change.
The ideal candidate for the Program Manager role will be local to the Houston Metro or surrounding area.
This candidate should have healthcare experience, including at least one year of experience in a clinical operations role. To be successful in this position, this candidate should be experienced in managing timelines and demonstrate analytical, strategic, and professional communication with various stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is also preferred.
Salary: Minimum $79,000 - Midpoint $99,000 - Maximum $119,000
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Work Location: This is a Hybrid position, based in Houston, TX. Onsite flexibility required depending on business need.

Responsibilities
Project Management
Manages project planning, execution, monitoring, documentation, and team coordination to support timely completion of deliverables and alignment with institutional goals.
- Manages the project team and the identification of all deliverables, sequence of all activities and tasks necessary to complete the deliverable, the effort required to complete each task, assignment of deliverables to an owner, and cost of the analysis and planning phase of the project.
- Initiates actions to keep project on schedule within budget with agreed upon scope.
- Monitors project activities and tasks to ensure completion as scheduled while meeting quality needs of the sponsor and customer.
- Collects data and identifies new or improved workflows in support of project initiatives.
- Ensures project documentation is completed and maintained as the project changes or refines over time.
- Coordinates necessary support for follow-through on the part of key players and provides focus for the team and individuals to sustain momentum needed to drive initiatives.
- Remains connected with project team members between meetings.
- Provides coordination and communication among team members to facilitate strategic alignment with institutional goals.
Decision Support
Provides information, analysis, reporting, and end-user support to inform project planning, operational decision-making, and improvement initiatives.
- Provides assistance by delivering information to support various projects that include, but are not limited to, quality improvement, cost containment, performance monitoring, clinical outcomes, resource utilization and operational efficiency.
- Consults with the project team members to ensure that all deliverables are accurate, complete and contain definitions, sources of data and identification.
- Develops an understanding of the discrete data and operational workflows and learns to use it appropriately when providing analysis and other deliverables.
- Assists in providing end user support regarding data sources, as well as guidance in the appropriate use of reports and reporting applications.
- Provides information to Clinical Integration Project Director to support project planning.
- Through reporting and analysis, provides customer support for the projects and services deployed by the Clinical Integration department.
Change Enablement/Communication
Supports successful organizational change through stakeholder engagement, deployment planning, operational readiness, communication, expectation management, and risk mitigation.
- Performs stakeholder analysis to determine and gain agreement for the project's business problem, goals and objects, success factors, planning assumptions, dependencies, constraints and risks.
- Documents and maintains deployment plans and provide regular updates to the project team.
- Gather and analyze information on the organization's environment and systems for impacts to change effort.
- Assesses training requirements and operational readiness for implementation of changes.
- Interacts and communicates with project stakeholders to manage expectations and reduce resistance to change at all levels.
- Manage and promote realistic expectations of the organization regarding new systems and processes.
- Accountable for risk mitigation planning for all issues and risks related to change management and stakeholder adoption.
- Provide support to project leadership and team members to facilitate all aspects of the change.
