We are currently looking to fill a nightshift opening.
This Per Diem Clinical Nurse position offers the opportunity to provide direct, patient-centered nursing care in a specialized pediatric oncology environment. In this role, you will assess patient needs, provide and coordinate nursing care, administer medications, perform clinical procedures, manage emergencies, and monitor patient outcomes. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and compassion are essential to success in this position. You will communicate patient needs and clinical information with multidisciplinary team members, document care according to established standards, and use clinical technology and computer systems to access, enter, and retrieve patient information accurately.
You will also support the continuum of care by participating in discharge planning, providing patient and family education, and coordinating appropriate services. Your ability to help patients and families understand their care and navigate transitions will be an important part of delivering a positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate will be a dependable and compassionate nurse who is comfortable caring for pediatric patients, demonstrates strong clinical competency, and works effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
