The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within ATC Woodlands. The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in coordinating care across the continuum while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. In this setting, the Clinical Nurse serves as both a clinical expert and patient advocate, contributing to seamless transitions of care, patient education, and care coordination for complex oncology populations, including Surgical Oncology and Infusion patients as needed.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Some flexibility may be required.
Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $32.69 - Midpoint $50.48 - Maximum $68.26
PLUS - Nurses will earn up to $3,120 in annual department-based differentials.

- Lead patients, families, and team members toward meeting future care needs
- Organize and prioritize patient care team activities, including chemotherapy/biotherapy administration
- Coordinate pump connects/disconnects, antibiotic therapy, IV fluids, and IV starts
- Respond rapidly to chemotherapy reactions and clinical emergencies
- Ensure continuity of care through patient education and service coordination
- Practice autonomously within professional nursing scope
