Our work covers a wide of interests that span from the pure basic sciences to the more translational research aspects that affect how sarcomas respond to biologically targeted therapies. Specifically interested in how tumor microenvironmental cues, particularly biophysical forces, and the extracellular matrix, regulate the spatial organization, phenotype, and differentiation state of cancer, with a major focus on how those parameters affect the sensitivity of high-grade bone and soft-tissue sarcomas to biologically targeted therapy.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The postdoctoral fellow should demonstrate a broad and detailed knowledge of Sarcoma research. Understand gaps, limits, and challenges such that they can develop testable hypotheses.
